Dr. Shozab Raza Awarded Hunt Postdoctoral Fellowship

We are thrilled to celebrate Social Justice Education Assistant Professor Dr. Shozab Raza, who has received a from the Wenner-Gren Foundation for Anthropological Research. This competitive fellowship supports emerging scholars whose work has the potential to transform our understanding of what it means to be human.
The fellowship provides USD $40,000 to support nine months of full-time writing, enabling recipients to develop major publications—from books and monographs to journal articles—that advance innovative and comparative approaches in anthropology and related fields.
