Through their creative efforts to improve education, this year’s six alumni winners – Justin Patrick, Maria Rogers, Shijing Xu, John Dias, Cindy Sinclair and Erin Finley – have been recognized for their excellence and leadership in teaching, research and advocacy.

A collection of poetry published by Professor Emeritus John P. Portelli has been short-listed for a Canadian Book Club Award (CBCA), in the poetry category.

Dr. Amal Madibbo hosts season five of the podcast “Quoi de neuf?,” which is produced by CREFO – Le Centre de recherches en éducation franco-ontarienne.

Disability Matters, a major six-year pan-national programme of disability and health research, is being funded by a Wellcome Trust Discretionary Award.
